We are off to a wonderful start in Second Grade! Our first two weeks of school could not have been more joyful or exciting, and we are both so thankful to know that there are many more days ahead with this spectacular group of students and friends. We are particularly happy to welcome our new Wildcats, Destiny Stewart and Jack Lambertson to our class. As we get into the swing of things, we hope you have heard of the unique experiences taking place inside our classroom. You may want to ask your child about our "Nug Jug", how we learned about Trinity's history on the 15th Anniversary of the opening of the school, who Fred the Worm was, what we're reading to learn about The Honor Code, and how we FINALLY adopted a class pet! More stories and pictures will be coming soon.
Academically, we are diving into our various units with determination and gumption. We look forward to growing alongside your children and to witnessing their personal growth as readers, writers, mathematicians, and more. Periodically, we will post updates from enrichment teachers with information regarding what is taking place in these classes, and our first update from Mrs. Phillips can be found below:

- You may begin joining us for lunch on September 6th (12:00 - 12:25).
- Our first visit to ImaginOn will be next Thursday, September 3rd.
- The Second Grade Parent Coffee is scheduled for September 9th, 8:00 - 9:15, in the TED Room.
